Have you ever thought about integrating Forma Lms with a video conferencing tool?
Imagine yes, but what does it mean to integrate? What tools can i integrate? And how much do they cost?
In this article we try to give all the answers.
At a minimum, integrating 2 applications means being able to enter Single Sign On (in a nutshell: without having to re-enter a user and password) from one application to another. Then it can also mean integrating reporting (access to videoconferencing can also be found on the platform) or some administrative functions (creating meetings, inviting people directly from Forma).
Connector for GoToWebinar
Today we want to report the latest addition: the integration between Forma Lms and GoToWebinar, which allows you to do everything we have described above. Contact us if you want details on the price. Of course you must already have an account with the video conferencing tool.
Connector for Adobe Connect
We have also long had a connector for Adobe Connect for Meetings, the operation is the same.
Connector for Big Blue Button
Last but not least: in your installation of Forma you already have a free plugin for Big Blue Button, the most popular Open Source video conferencing service. BBB is open, therefore free. Obviously it means that you have to install it yourself and manage yourself a streaming server to put it on: evaluate with your IT!
We have a roadmap to create a connector for Zoom too. It is currently not ready, but if anyone is interested in co-financing it we can certainly move forward faster.
