(Missing translation) - Email when user completes course

Greetings,

When a user completes a course they receive this e-mail:

Subject: user end course sbj
Body: user end course text

Unfortunately I don't see where I can customize this text, can you point me in the right direction?

you must go in the admin language section , find the two keys
user_end_course_sbj
user_end_course_text
in your loaded language and translate it

Ah, that was the issue. They weren't included in the original language file. I added them into the email module with those specific keys.

Can someone advise how to make them available to edit?

Hi Lilian,

you are talking about Docebo 405, right?

if you don't find those two keys, you can easily add them. Go to Language management and insert 2 new keys by clicking on the "Add" button.

module: email
key: USER_END_COURSE_SBJ (uppercase)
text: the subject you want..

module: email
key: USER_END_COURSE_TEXT (uppercase)
text: the text you want....

That's great. Thanks, Max. I think you do need to have _USER_END_COURSE_SBJ (an underscore at the front).
I've now added these. However, only the student receives it and not their manager, who may be the person who wants to know this has happened. Is there a way to add to the event so that the manager is informed (or instructor)

Sorry Lilian, the underscore at the front got lost during my copy'n'paste You're right, it's needed.

Getting back to your other request: you can see what events (i.e. automatic notifications) and to whom those notifications are sent from administration>main>configuration>event manager

You'll see that there's no event telling teachers that a user has completed a course. And for a reason: teachers/managers can easily see that from the course stat area (user stats).
If they are allowed to see that section, they can also see that information from the course back-end reports.

Adding new events can only be done by customizing the platform (we've done that for several customers).

We'll see if we can add new events to future "official" releases of FormaLms.
