Hi,

I was having trouble upgrading from 1.4.1 to 1.4.2. My system would get stuck at the languages import section. The work around is the same as referenced in the upgrade to 1.4.1:

1. Instead of going to /upgrade, start with/install
2. Go through all steps including your db information
3. The system will show an error in creating the table

At this point, the language files are now ready to go. Just go back to /upgrade and you should have no problems finishing the upgrade.

Thanks for sharing your solution, on our systems the upgrade procedure works fine, could you share your configuration to further investigate your issue?

Very dirty solution .
I don't suggest use this one on a production environment with a live database.
In the upgrade , the language import step is the very last one. If you have troubles you can skip it . forma.lms and the database are already upgraded.
After upgrade, To refresh languages:
extranct on your HD, the content of forma.lms zip package
login with a super admin
Go to administration arera
Go to language managment
Import / update languages choosing file form the xml-language folder on your HD
at the end you can delete the extracted package on your HD
