Integrated PayPal and Prestashop

Hello Everyone
I am essentially completely new to Forma LMS. I have a couple of questions (in separate postings).
What are the differences between Forma's builtin PayPa gateway and the Prestashop plugin?
Does the built-in PayPal automatically enrol people in the courses or does it have to be done manually? Does it have an expiration function?
Does Prestashop have a subscription and expiration facility?
And... where can I find the Prestashop plugin. I cannot seem to find it on the Internet.
Thank you
Andrew

Hello,
Built-in Paypal integration: you just need to configure your PayPal account into Forma, and you're done.
Then, you set a price for a course you want to sell, and the course will be displayed in the catalogue with a price tag. Users who want to buy a course click on the "buy" button, then:
- if they choose PayPal, they are taken to the PayPal gateway. They pay, and when they go back they are already enrolled to the course
- if they choose Wire Transfer, they are shown a page where you should insert your bank information. In that case, they are put into a "waiting list". Enrolled, but to be confirmed by the admin (once you acknowledge their payment).
There's no need for an expiration function.
Prestashop: you can get in touch with one of Forma.Association's Founder companies.
Please write to Vito Semeraro -

Thank you so much Max.
I tried it once and when the payment was accepted it said that I had been accepted but actually I had to approve the enrolment by hand. I wonder if that is because of a setting on self-enrolment.
Second, does one have to be a registered user to have access to Paypal?
Third, I am not sure why you say that no expiration function is necessary. I presume that one cannot stay enrolled for ever. Ideally one might stay enrolled for, say, 30 days and then access disappears (but that may be a function of the course itself that I have not seen or examined).
Like all others here, I appreciate your help very much.
Andrew

OK - I see why no expiration function (as there is an expiration function in the course setup itself - under timing - am I right?). I guess if the person is re-subscribed they can start again with the full time.

It might very well be that, a setting on self-enrolment

Enrolment and payment happen after you have logged in to the LMS, therefore yes, you have to be a registered user THEN you can self-enrol (and pay if the course has to be paid).

You are right.
The course can either have a set start and end date or have, for example, 30 days of completion time that start from a user's first access.
