I think it would be very very complicated.... LO's are displayed with an icon taken from the set of icons included in the LMS.
like this: templates/templatename/images/lobject/scormorg.png or [....]/test.png

Maybe you'd like to change icons and use the ones you prefer, but you'd still have the same ones for every type of LO, not a different one for each LO

If you want you could add an image field to lo proprieries abd choose it from a package. But you need development.

everything is possible, just say what you want and evaluate sizes and costs...
