Hi,
If I enable the 'Show Instant Messenger' option in the Display mode options section of the course set up and select students. Where do I see who is currently online to message them?

Beware of instant messenger, as the server fires http packets to all connected users: the number of users online can crash the server (depending on its available resources).

It depends on your forma lms version.

It seems the link is broken. You should open instant messenger clicking on the preview bar in a course, then on the number of online users.
