Did you miss the Forma Experience? Here is a preview of the prototype of the next disruptive evolution towards the future of elearning: Forma 5
On the occasion of the 2023 Forma Experience event, held in Milan on November 15, Forma Association officially presented the project and the first prototype of Forma 5: a profound redesign of the platform's general use logic which is going to be more modern, flexible and user-friendly.
For those who could not join us in Milan, please subscribe to our free webinar in January: https://www.elearnit.net/digital-academy/eventi/93-forma-xperience-2023-online.html
The prototype was met with great enthusiasm by community members who were at the event. New ideas and further new proposals were also shared. The preparation towards Forma 5's prototype was a time of intense live collaboration between partners and community, and came in three phases:
1. The stakeholder questionnaire: your feedback on Forma's efficiency, effectiveness and user experience
We mapped the most widespread methods of use and the main critical issues, interviewing a sample of elearning providers who massively use forma with their customers (an overall sample of over 120,000 users and around 1500 courses on over 40 installations).
2. Design Sprint: a working group to redesign the platform
A 2-day workshop in which a team made up of partners and key-users collaborated with the "Design Sprint" method to analyze and redesign the UX logics of the platform, combining the information collected by the community with decades of experience on hundreds of projects.
3. The Prototype: testing the project with the users
After the presentation at the Forma Experience, in recent weeks we have been testing h the prototype with a group of Beta-Testers. This will result in a dedicated webinar in which the prototype will be presented to the entire community. In the meantime… enjoy this preview!
Cool right? :) We're already working and would like to complete it within a year to bring the entire community the innovation it deserves. We believe it's possible but it will require a great effort and we will need your help: for this reason we have launched a crowdfunding campaign that will help us support development costs and speed up the release, respecting the "Free Open Source" model that we have embraced .
