In the gradebook, when I move a student to 'ghost', his name is still showing up in the course gradebook, (and so is administrator, guest, etc). In Docebo, when a student was moved to ghost in the course, his name would NOT appear in the gradebook.
Distinction: When the teacher clicks to enter a grade, the student's name does NOT show up there; however, when you scroll down on gradebook, you see all listed there with grades. Is this a bug?
I do not want to delete students who have completed the course, because if I do that, then their course history is affected, and so is their certificate.
Does anyone know what I can do?

Re: Gradebook Bug
Hi, it's not a bug, it has to do with how we fixed the gradebook in Forma compared to Docebo.
The old docebo gradebook had several bugs (if you added scorm activities, their score wouldn't pass through to the final score and wouldn't count for the "attempted", "passed" and "failed" totals, etc...) and had some questionable filters (the teachers' and administrators' scores wouldn't display). From what you write, I suppose even ghosts' scores would not display.
What we did was fixing the bug with the scorm activities and the count, and removing all the filters.
I couldn't replicate what you said about the student's name not showing up, maybe I didn't get what you meant. Could you post a screenshot of where it happens?

Re: Gradebook Bug
Hi Max,
Yes, in this case, I am attaching a picture of the gradebook from a course, English II. In that course, the first student listed in the gradebook has status 'ghost', but still shows up in the gradebook listing (as does my name - administrator). This is only an issue because the teachers are trying to see who is currently in courses, not students who have completed, but who are still showing up on the list, even though we have moved their status to 'ghost'.

Re: Gradebook Bug
I understand that this is the way run things, but moving students who completed the course to the ghost status doesn't seem 'correct' to me, didactically.
Anyway, of course you know that there are lots of areas where you can filter students or divide them into groups.
If this is not enough for your teachers, maybe you can consider using filters to your gradebook: you can simply display students only, if what you do is moving those have completed to the ghost status.
Just my 2 cents

Re: Gradebook Bug
How do I filter to show students only?
Re: Gradebook Bug
Isn't there a dropdown menu with the filter above the table?

Well, I feel like an idiot! Thanks Max, yes, there is a drop down menu!
