how to delete a course

How to delete a course or any other assets that you do not need.
I would like to delete the course "sample" .

Cao,
you delete courses in the same place where you create them... under administration > elearning > courses
you will see the list of courses and you'll be able to delete the unneeded one.

I see the following (only the Rome course is listed)

The attachment CourseScreenshot.png is no longer available

But under All Courses the "sample" course still listed.

How to delete from All Courses.

Maybe the missing one is in a different category. Try flagging the show children nodes checkbox
